The Business Developer is responsible for daily Trading and AOG activities, collaborating with the CEO and HQ on strategic initiatives. The developer also works closely in developing new customers (Airlines, Brokers, OEM..)


As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for prospecting and generating quotation requests from Airlines or brokers while ensuring all processes are followed.

The Business Developer is in charge of acquiring used or new equipment for trade, and they should have negotiation skills to make sure there are no leaks during transactions.

Job description

  1. The Business Developer is responsible for answering the Request For Quote (RFQs) sent from US customers everyday so they can be serviced.
  2. He/She is in charge of making sure that all customer’s RFQs for certified used spare parts are answered promptly. He or she maximizes margin while obtaining purchase orders from the client by negotiating a close fair market value sale at a time
  3. He creates and maintains a network of customers, suppliers that are associated with this activity. He monitors the relationships between each individual in order to detect new opportunities for sale or purchase on his perimeter.
  4. He/she represents OEMS by participating to the regional events, conference, associated to this activity daily.
  5. He/she is constantly managing the actions of lobbying, marketing, prospection necessary to the activity development daily.
  6. He/she defines and follows commercial actions plans for the US region.
  7. He/she is charge of reaching the order intake objectives and associated turnover on a monthly basis.
  8. He/she regularly provides activity performance reports regarding his perimeter weekly.
  9. He/she supports the Worldwide Trading by strongly contributing to the following activities daily:
  • AOG support
  • Markets analysis
  • Certified Used parts selling and purchasing strategies development
  • Process optimization
  1. The Business Developer coordinates his/her activity daily with :
  • The traditional activities of OEMS (AOG, Logistics, Components Repair, …)
  • The team in charge of the business development and relationship with the customers (Airlines, Brokers, OEM’s..)
  • The Operations / Supply Chain
  • The AOG department


Master or bachelor’s degree in Business in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Product/Equipment Trading experience
  • Proven track record of business improvement projects with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical & financial skills, program management and pricing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to make effective presentations to all levels of leadership
  • Aerospace product, industry, manufacturing, supply chain, distribution/ channel sales, marketing knowledge and experience
  • Export control regulation.(EAR, ITAR..)
  • International freight forwarding knowledge.

Preferred Requirements

At least (2) years of successful experience with business improvement projects.

This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
